1. Take a sample of 100 to 300 g of soil and add to the KCI reactive. Shake the solution for a few seconds to put the nitrates in suspension.

2. After shaking the mix of soil and KCI take a sample of the mix with a syringe and filter with the Nitrafiltres.

3. After filtering, put the filtered solution in contact with the reactive strips for 5 seconds. Measurement of the dosage of nitrates is done in 60 seconds by the RQFlex.
