Calculate days of grazing per field

First step for pasture management: measurement of the height of grass using the Herbomètre ®. This measure assesses the biomass needed to interpret the index of nitrogen nutrition.

Herbo-POCKET ® Allows the recording of field measurements using the HerboMETRE ® and automatic calculation of the average height of grass and days of grazing per field.

More technical details

From work done by INRA, technical institutes with the support of the Chambers of Agriculture developed in 1999 a new approach to reasoning PK fertilization of grassland, based on indices of nutrition. 

3 indices of nutrition are determined: 
> INN for nitrogen 
> IP for phosphorus 
> IK for potassium
